HIC Prusa I3 X-axis Motor Carriage *OFFSET Z-AXIS RODS*
thingiverse
This part is only for a frame with z-axis rods offset from front to rear, similar to those seen on the HIC model. I've only encountered this design on the HIC Prusa I3 and had issues with warped x-axis carriages in some cases, so I recreated the part to help resolve these problems. To use this file: follow the print instructions below and you should have a functional carriage unit. These prints are exported using metric units (mm). For those interested in customizing their own model, I've also uploaded the DWG file. Please don't hesitate to leave feedback if any modifications would make this print better suited for your purposes or design setup. Update: after making adjustments on the x-axis rod holes and creating an opposite part, a revised model (V9) is now available.
