My custom-built right side Z Axis version still needed fine-tuning as another contributor didn't perfectly match their rod to the holes on my printer's build plate, purchased back in March 2015. To ensure precision alignment, I've attached the 123D file so you can review and adjust if necessary. For optimal measurement accuracy, investing in a digital caliper would be advisable – mine cost about £13 on eBay. A key insight to successfully assembling this end piece lies in not fully pushing both rods to their extreme positions. Instead, maintain straight alignment for both long Z axis bolts first; then meticulously position each brass thread directly above the corresponding bolt while keeping it firmly in place. To secure it properly, gently tap the right-hand end piece with a hammer until it reaches its exact desired location.
