Hi-Point safeties can be quite tricky to operate. A simple solution involves attaching a slide onto the safety lever, providing a secure grasp for your thumb rather than relying on the thin metal tab. This pressure-fit component was designed without a tolerance in mind due to its delicate nature. To ensure a snug fit without causing damage, I had to enlarge it by 3% to prevent breakage. You may need to experiment with the scaling on the width to achieve an optimal fit. Instead of using high infill settings, I opted for three walls, resulting in a nearly solid print. To guarantee a precise fit, I printed this part with the thin wall facing upwards and the ridge towards the build plate. Given its small size, supports should not be necessary. *Please note that firearm modifications should only be performed by a professional gunsmith.
