Hi-Point Safety cover

Hi-Point safeties are not easy to use. This slides on to the safety lever and adds something for your thumb to catch other than the thin metal tab.

This is a pressure fit part so I did not design a tolerance into it. I had to scale the width to 103% to fit it on without breaking. You might need to play with the scaling on the width to get the best fit.

Instead of using a high infill I used 3 walls and it printed almost solid.

I also printed this with the thin wall against the build plate and the ridge up to get the best fit. The area is so small that it shouldn't need supports.

Firearm modifications should be performed by a professional gunsmith. Altering the safety mechanism on your firearm may damage it or make it unsafe. Check to see if this is legal where you live. I am not a gunsmith and cannot make any gaurantee regarding this part, installation or use.

Print instructions

Print Settings

Printer: Tronxy X5S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: .2

Infill: 8%-100%

Filament: 3D Solutech PLA Blue
