Hi-Hat Controller (Prototype)
thingiverse
This is just a rough outline of a hi-hat controller, but I think it could be used with many sound modules. Since I don't have a Roland or Yamaha cymbal pad, I haven't tested it in combination. However, I did test it with the Roland TD-10 and it worked seamlessly. Right now, I'm designing a cymbal pad that will pair perfectly with this controller when it's complete. Once I finish the design, I'll share it here for everyone to see. This is still just a prototype, so you may need to adjust it slightly depending on the shape of your jack. Just cut a part of the model if necessary. Keep in mind that this project is still under development, but I'll be sharing the detailed production process on my blog as soon as possible. You can check out the latest updates at https://open-e-drums.tumblr.com/. To get started, you'll need some basic components like appropriate sponge foam and a 6.3mm audio jack.
