Hi-Fi Rush - Chai's Guitar
thingiverse
These are the parts I modeled and printed to make Chai's guitar from the video game Hi-Fi Rush. This was my first time modeling something significant, so it's a little rough. These pieces are designed to fit on PVC pipe that's 1.32 inches or 33.6mm outside diameter. It's sold as "1 inch" pipe at the US hardware store. The vertical "neck" pipe is about 74cm long The left leg pipe is about 49 cm long and 19.1° off the neck The right leg pipe is about 52 cm long and 16.4° off the neck I've included a file of the full size pipe "Y" model for fitment testing. (I printed this and each component at 25% before printing full-size just to make sure things worked together.) I also added some EVA foam panels and glued on some wires. I don't have patterns for those, sorry. I also added a 120mm computer fan cover. I included the models for the backing panel and the "screws" to hold it in. You can get the actual wire cover on eBay or whatever. Near the head and the base of the left leg are reinforced holes to attach D-rings with a 3mm pin, to which I attached a strap. (For carrying around all-day at a con) This is the D-ring I used: "CRAFTMEMORE D-Rings Screw in Shackle Horseshoe U Shape D Ring DIY Leather Craft Key Holder Purse Accessories for 1 Inch Strap Pack of 4 (Gunmetal)" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073DBYNTM/) Hopefully this'll help someone! Happy crafting!
