HHR Intake Hose Fittings

As anyone with a Chevy HHR knows, the factory intake hoses fall apart very easily. Mine did too, so I replaced the factory "woolly" hose, with a plastic hose i purchased from my local parts store. You can also order this hose from amazon, https://smile.amazon.com/Spectre-Performance-8741-Black-Duct/dp/B000BPZ55Y This works well, but you need to do a little modding to get it all to work. You need to remove the rubber boots from the original hose and use a combination of those rubber boots, the new hose, and these fittings. On the fender side, you use the factory rubber boot, slide in my fitting that has the grille on it, then slide the new plastic hose over the fitting. On the top end of the hose, you slide the new hose over my elbow, then slide the elbow in to the rubber boot and clamp. I printed them 100% infill with PETG for heat tolerance and strength. Could use something like ABS too.
