HF Wire Antenna Insulator/Isolator

This is a stabilizer for a high-frequency wire antenna. A double D slot accommodates a banana plug, while holes enable threading a rope through and small openings allow feeding the wire. Loop the rope over and under through the holes and secure with a slip knot to adjust tension; vertical edges support the rope's stability. Insert 6-10 inches of wire into the front small hole, then navigate it over and under the left or right hole, before moving it to the opposite hole, and finally over or under, returning it to the front hole. Secure the wire with a half western union and direct the remaining pigtail to the banana jack solder lug; wrap it around and solder it in place. Optionally, you can also solder the half western union. If aluminum wire is being used, consider crimping a ring terminal onto the wire's end instead of using a half western union. Sharp turns on aluminum are detrimental due to swaying which rapidly fatigues the wire when making sharp angles; friction alone should hold the aluminum in place and a sweeping arc back to the terminal is recommended.
