Adjustable coil is designed to have 3/8" brass rod inserted halfway through the coil from the top. Because of tight tolerances, I had to cut threads into rod and thread it into the coil, but the hole is designed so that it will only fit halfway through. Another rod can be inserted from the bottom that will not tough the brass rod, and be used as either a stake for the antenna or inserted into a tripod. The coil is designed for use with a 12-17' telescopic antenna and I have 2 132' radials. I will update after I get to try it out!
