HexScraper with Magnet
prusaprinters
The same great HexScraper, but now with more magnetism! The embedded magnet allows you to hang the scraper on a metal surface, such as a metal desk or the PSU on the side of the MK3/S/S+.The magnet pocket is sized for a 9.5mm x 3.2mm neodymium disc magnet. I used these. A print pause at the appropriate layer is used to insert the magnet. The supplied g-codes all include the print pause, use 3 perimeters, and have 1mm - 1.2mm top & bottom thickness.PrusaSlicer defaults to a 0.2mm first layer height on 0.1mm through 0.3mm layer settings profiles, so I'm not sure that using a 0.1mm-0.2mm layer height really matters much for the end result. I ended up “sharpening” the edge with some sandpaper on a flat surface; coarse grit (~220) followed by fine grit (~2000). After this little bit of post-processing, it's super easy to slide the scraper under things on the print sheet.I went a little cray-cray with the g-code files, but hopefully you can find something that suits your needs! If not, there's always the model file to slice yourself to your liking. Change Log:25FEB2023 – Corrected print time error on model overview.
