This printable telescope features a collapsible optical tube assembly that collapses into a compact cakebox form protecting the optics, and a sturdy dobsonian mount that can be set up and ready for stargazing in under 5 minutes. The optical tube assembly is also compatible with any other Vixen clamp mounts and comes with a dovetail included inside the files. 3 Folders are available for download: Optical Tube Assembly, Optical Tube Assembly Supports and Telescope Mount. The optical tube assembly prints the optical tube where the mirrors and critical scope contents are housed. The optical tube assembly supports feature the parts needed to hold the Makerbeams and secure them onto the optical tube assembly. The Telescope Mount is optional if you have your own tripod and mount, but it's required for new scope owners. Assembly of the Hexonian 6 requires several different M4 screw lengths (15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, and 40mm), and nuts as well as M3 screws of 15mm and 20mm. One M6 screw of 45mm and 2 M6 nuts are required for the mount turntable. 5x Makerbeams of 10x10x500 are needed for the tube assembly, and 4x Makerbeam of 10x10x300 for the mount.
