Hexmag Base Plate / Latchplate

This is a printable Hexmag base plate that can be customized to meet specific needs. I designed multiple versions of the base plate, each with its own unique features. A complete piece that matches the original design requires printing supports. For a smooth bottomed base plate, special settings are needed. I also created a two-part base plate that allows for flexibility in color and material choice during mass-printing. The visible hexagon part can be printed in any desired color or material while the inside part is printed using standard settings. In my limited experience with the 2-part design, I found it sufficient to simply friction fit the hexagon together. However, tactical operators may prefer to secure the pieces with a small amount of epoxy for added stability.
