Hexibox cavity
thingiverse
I aimed to print the shape of the cavity and then cast each half in concrete so I wouldn't have to use a ton of filament. The shape is essentially the opposite of the stl.\r\n\r\nTo create the first piece without needing support or raft/etc., simply sink the model 8mm into the plate, cut off a piece of the horn, and then rotate the model 180 degrees, sinking it 52mm below the plate to get the remaining piece that can be glued back on. The included screenshot demonstrates what this looks like in cura.\r\n\r\nOf course, you'll need to take this model, make a mirror image, and do the same thing for the other side of the cavity.\r\n\r\nI'm planning to print at .3mm height with 0% infill, no top layers, but everything else will be normal.
