YouTube's Hexibase Inspired Smart Light Shade Lower Base Section I used 0.28 layer height, with 4% infill and Black PLA. Midsection Shade - Geeetech Transparent Filament This section must be sliced using Prusa Slicer 2. I used 2 perimeters, with a 3D Honeycomb of 20%. The G-code I used was made for the Ender 3 Pro, including the Ender 3 profile for Prusa Slicer 2, which I've included in the collection. 0.20 layer height This includes a raft-like brim four layers high to help reduce or eliminate any warping. Any clicking of the extruder after the first few layers means you need to replace your nozzle as this Prusa G-code is quite fast on some sections and needs a clean, unclogged nozzle. https://youtu.be/a1kQcR3Gtk8 Top cap 0.28 layer height, with 4% infill and Black PLA. The STL in Thingiverse shows ghosting of previous edits and Boolean subtractions. The STL when imported into slicer software is clean, and the prints show no ghosting of previous structural elements. Depending on the light fitting and bulb size, you can simply adjust the Z-axis scale so that the bulb hemisphere is above the horizon of the Lower base. However, watch the cable feed hole does not get squashed too much for your cable diameter (quite large in my case 7mm diameter). May need some STL editing if this is so. The adaptor base is 65mm diameter in my case. Edit STL if you need more. My bulb + fitting needs about 130mm base to allow the hemisphere to rise above horizon of base module I recommend printing widest width ways X-axis on an Ender 3 to lower the chances of warping at the heat bed edge. No rafts or skirts in Cura. That way, you get the full usable width. The top cap does some crazy bridging but succeeds. I may amend this later. The Lower mirror plate has some partitions to reduce light shining through the vents. A flexible stick-on mirror plate will be attached to the plate and the top cap to create an infinity mirror for the smart bulb Update 27.10.19 1842 GMT Lower mirror plate and vent partition amended. Partitions moved a bit closer to the vents. Enough gap to allow thermal venting circulation out of top cap vents, but a bit more coverage of the adhesive mirror https://youtu.be/eiNBcXZa68M
