HexBeam Hub

HexBeam Hub

This is my take on an idea I saw from Sergey Usmanov; He was unwilling to supply STL files, so I thought I would have a go at the design. This is a center hub for a HexBeam antenna, that is 3-D Printed. There are 3 types of parts..... Top plate. I have made this to restrict the poles from rising more than 90 degrees from the horizontal plane. This will create the tension that you want/need. Lower plate. This is the lower locking mechanism of the hinges. Hinges. You will need 6 of these, and their diameter will need to be adjusted to the poles that you are planning to use. Please note: I have not yet tried to print this. It should give you an idea of how I built the parts, and how I assembled them.
