Hexapod Robot Body and Legs
thingiverse
I'm posting this as my first post on Thingiverse, and I'll add to it later as I gain experience with the site. My hexapod robot uses 12 MG90 or SG90 Microservos - you can see Tower Pro MG90S servos assembled in the picture. Both types are likely just as effective. The space inside the robot is sized for an Arduino UNO, and mounting holes allow it to be securely attached. For more information about this project, check out this link: http://wiki.themakerstation.com/Robotics_Hexapod_Kit If you need someone to print these parts for you, I'm available through 3dhubs - just go here: https://www.3dhubs.com/atlanta/hubs/wayne Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 20 % Notes: I printed all the parts with ABS - so far, I haven't tried using PLA or any other material. Post-Printing Steps: I've already taken some finishing steps to improve my prints. Some of the parts got a treatment of acetone to make them stronger in the weak direction. Others had their holes reamed out with a drill bit to give them a more uniform internal diameter.
