HexaLid Desiccant (Silica Gel) Box
thingiverse
Every crafter requires a desiccant box for their dry box, but I specifically sought out a slim one. The dimensions are 80mm x 80mm x 22mm, ample enough to hold 100g of silica gel. I aimed to incorporate wide holes for enhanced air contact. Following an accident, it became apparent that I had to secure the silica inside the box in case it flips over. A piece of cheesecloth was used for this purpose; its thin material allows for excellent air contact without obstructing it. If you can't find cheesecloth, a single layer of toilet paper will suffice. The lock piece was first glued in place before being covered with cloth. The lid fits the base component seamlessly, but an M3 screw can be used to ensure a more secure bond. Best regards
