Hexagonal tile with Clip (Roads and Boats)

This has been updated April 14 ('23) - the 'base_hex61_compat.stl' has cut away unnecessary wall and lies better on the table. The prior version wasn't precisely planar, which is probably unnoticeable, but I wasn't comfortable about it. These hexes are very low cost. They have a minimum internal radius (centre to flat) of 30.5mm and are (outside, flat to flat) 63mm across; they were designed to act as a replacement/support for the tiles found in "roads & boats" - the cardboard tiles of the game fit very well. The idea is to print transparent, and then use printed hexagonal inserts. The tiles themselves can be dry wiped. The tiles are fit together with the clips - there is little tolerance, so they might need to be shaved slightly depending on the print quality. So far, testing has been fine for that though. No more acrylic overlay, and no more fiddly moving hexes. Just lots of geese, donkeys, and everything else. The original tiles fit into this (revised) hexagon with no problem, held firmly in place by the connector clips - Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy.
