-Self watering planter-This is Self watering Plant Pot I made using similar designs I found on other designs on thingiverse. My pot uses a hexagon design as its a simple design as well having good properties of strength while still finding the shape aesthetically pleasing. I have printed a few in different sizes and are used to grow herbs which can be quickly picked for cooking as they are used indoors.I was able to print the pot with any supports(as long as its in the correct orientation) and the pot was able to hold water without leaking. I used the ironing feature in CURA to help waterproof the bottom of the plant since the filament I was using is fairly old and doesn't print as great or accurate and I had slightly split layer lines which the ironing help fix. Just slightly made the print longer for an greater increase quality.I found that overtime my reservoir had started to leak.If the reservoir starts leaking it may be a good idea to use sealant on the inside of the reservoir to help keep it nice and sealed and stop it from leaking. Note that I used PLA as the material which may be the cause of the poor seals.
