- Joinable hexleaf lithophane picture frames. You can leave the wiring and LEDs out and place on a windowsill or wire them up as a lamp. - Lithophanes snap in and out so you can change the pictures; hex panels reversibly snap together as well. No glue required. - Lithophane disks: design at lithophanemaker.com. Select "Circular" and use the following settings: "Positive Lithophane", "No Hoop", Resolution: 0.1, Radius: 50mm, Framewidth: 4mm, Frameheight 3.7mm, max thickness 3.6mm, min thickness 0.6mm. - There are 2 lengths of connector pin. "2 length" connects 2 panels - either 2 hex fames or a hex frame and a light post. "3 length" connects 3 panels - either 2 hex frames + a light post, or 2 light frames bound with the optional clip to prevent rotational motion when the panel is connected to only one other panel. - To make the lamp, you'll need: - 43mm x 29mm LED panels: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IXD7GOE/ (peel off the mounting tape) - power socket: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CVCJ97Q/ - AC adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018OLREG4/ (the listed LED panels work at 9V, 12V is too bright) Each panel draws ~50mA at 9V. - Print one "Power" leaf - which simply has one connection port filled in with a platform for the power socket. - Optional inline dimmer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01325KCSY/ - Optional jumper wire: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QXXMWRZ/ I use the jumper wire to make splitter wires (pictured) with a single male end connecting to two female ends. Each wire can the connect to an LED panel and a second splitter wire to extend the chain. Alternatively just solder the wires and lights together.
