Hexagonal Box for Facets Dice
thingiverse
I heard you're into 3D printing, so check out this 3D printed dice box for your 3D printed dice! I was impressed by both sablebadger's [dice](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3166789) and NemoKeine's [box](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3074181), but *they just don't fit together*. I didn't end up using either files, but I'm giving remix credit for the inspiration. This design is a bit taller than standard dice boxes, but it fits in a second d20 which I like for advantage/disadvantage rolls. The next largest holes are for the d10s. The oval is for the d4 and the d6 is right next to it. The last slots are for the d8 and d12. The lid is 3mm thick, leaving plenty of space to "engrave" something up to 2mm thick. (Take it into Tinkercad for example, turn the engraving into a "hole" and group it with the lid.) Bridging over the "engraving" makes the texture a little rougher which contrasts with the surface; I like that effect. The magnets can be fixed in the holes with just a touch of cyanoacrylate if needed.
