Print instructions

Category: Tool Holders & Boxes Summary

Another bits holder. I thought a while how to design holes for the bits, not too loose, so that the bits will stay safely in the plate without the need of a cover, but also not too strong, so they can be picked out easily with the finger tips. So I came up to the idea of designing little spring like elements. That really works perfectly!

There are two sizes: A smaller one for up to 19 bits and a larger one for up to 37 bits.

See also my hex nozzle sheath 19 with the same gripping mechanism

PS: I only recognized afterwards that mark2 had quite the same idea for these kind of 'spring holes'. Even if my design is not a classic remix of this former design, I don't want to miss to mention it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3424118

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

no

Filament:
PETG
