This challenge has me intrigued: https://hackaday.com/2020/06/30/the-challenges-of-monitoring-water-streams-and-surviving-mother-nature/ My entirely streamed 'design process' is available here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/667374507 I had some thoughts I wanted to explore and see if I could create something useful. A single .stl takes about 5.5 hours / 55 grams to print with a 0.6 nozzle, 0.15 layer height, 15% infill, and 6 shells. A multi .stl for the full hexagonal frame takes about 35+ hours and around 320 grams at the same settings (sliced with Ideamaker 3.5.1 beta). It should print free of support and problems. However, I have not tested it yet, and this will come at the weekend at the earliest. The design should be a very tight press fit, depending on your printer's tolerances. Measures are tolerance-free for the press fit in rough surroundings. Holes are for screw fastening alternate 'beams' like pieces of wood that could fit or twigs or something else.
