Hexagon sorter trays
prusaprinters

Description:

These are my sorter trays I use for assembling my prusa printers.

Just empty the little screw bag you have to use for the next few assembling steps and pre-sort the screws, nuts and other stuff for easier access in the assembling process.

As the prusa screws are not magnetic it doesn't help for assembling a MK3S+ for example but for storing the trays on a metal shelf or table leg.

Versions:

There are 3 sizes small, medium and big and versions with or without slots to glue magnets on the bottom side.

I had 2 x 10 x 20 mm rectangular and 2 x 10mm round magnets laying around.

The “no magnet” versions have less bottom layers and are faster to print and needs a bit less material.

Printing:

I printed mine with a 0.6mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height and default Prusament PLA settings.

My top surfaces are a bit rough with the 0.6mm nozzle, but this is a functional thing I don't care about.

The “it looks as a sign” suggestion in prusa slicer did a good job for color switching.

Except for the top color I changed it to have at least 3 top layers with the last color.

Hope you find it useful as well and if so please share a make.

Happy printing!
