Hexagon Mirror Wall Frame
thingiverse
I bought some acrylic flexible mirrors, but thought they looked kind of out of place just sitting there on the wall. So I made these frames for a nice accent! They have a little centerd indentation for a nail to hold them to the wall. This way they will sit perfectly horizontal. You can of course also rotate them and put a nail in one of the corners. My mirrors measure about 20 cm from corner to corner, and about 17,3 cm from side to side. So be aware that you might have to readjust the size of the frame to fit yours. My mirrors are also about 1mm thick, so I made an indentation for it to perfectly sit in. They have adhesive on the back. That's what holds them in the frame. When mounting, you want to first nail the frame to the wall and put in the mirror after that. Each frame takes about 1h 20min to print with 60mm/s, 0,3mm layer height and 20% infill. You can try ironing the surface, but I found that it is really not that necessary as the layer lines by themselves are really only visible when you take a very close look. If any of you awesome people make them fit other mirror sizes, feel free to upload them as remixes! Happy printing!
