-READ BEFORE INSTALLATION!!! For secure mounting, M3 30mm bolts must be used through the aluminium extruder to attach it firmly to the stepper motor. Anything less - such as 25mm bolts - will not suffice. You who own a hexagon hot end know the frustrating problem of finding the perfect mounting system for this critical component. To solve this challenge, I took the core design from Jon Lawrence's 1405 front-end and made some tweaks to bring it up-to-date. That clever old x-motor mount which many were about to throw away can be repurposed with fantastic results! It provides the essential rigidity required to support the substantial weight of the hot end. My special thanks go out to stoutwind_de, who graciously shared their expertise on fan mounting for this ingenious setup.
