The original model was designed in 3DS Max 2015 and comes with a .MAX file that includes all the modifiers needed to alter the geometry. The idea for this model was inspired by existing pen holders for 3D printing, which it reimagines from scratch. With an average hex wall thickness of about 2mm (+ - 3%), this design can be scaled up or down as needed. The original dimensions are 72x132x84, but users can easily adjust them to fit their needs. This model is capable of holding heavy tools such as multiple metal pens, knives, and large screwdrivers without compromising its balance due to its engineered construction.
