I'm experimenting with creating a hexagonal chainmail design for the first time and I've managed to minimize support material requirements which is something I always aim to do when designing prints. This project was actually created to showcase a more intricate, dynamic print that students learning 3D printing over the summer could replicate using the same skills we were teaching them.
