I've relocated all my designs to my personal site, http://www.tmophoto.com/product-category/3d-product-download/. The self-leveling gimbal and landing gear are made from carbon fiber arrows, 3 servos, and printed parts. To build this project, you'll need: 1. Four 10x5mm ball bearings (Duratrax DTXC1535, $4 for 2). 2. A box of Warrior 400 1/2 DZ. HP-Vanes model # WAR400A26 carbon fiber arrows from Sportsmans Warehouse. 3. Three HS81MG or equivalent hobbyking servos (note: may not be big enough). 4. Two round 35.25mm servo horns. 5. A Y-shaped servo extension cable with a reversing switch for one lead, or use a standard Y splitter and modify one servo to run in reverse (as demonstrated in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK_FdRTenl0). 6. Print a gopro holder (tall for use with case or short when using just the camera). 7. Print the gimbal arms. 8. Print two landing legs. 9. Print two landing gear. 10. Print one goprohelimount. 11. Cut arrows to desired size (no measurement required). 12. I printed my parts with 2-3 shells and 10-18% infill. Remember, this is a work in progress. The non-printed parts will work for the next version, which will be smaller and lighter. Additionally, V2 will feature various mounts for different cameras. Connect the servos to a gyro stabilized receiver in your helicopter.
