This is my inaugural multicopter design, inspired by a DJI 550 model. The wingspan measures 580mm and supports props up to 10 inches in size. My configuration includes 2212 sized DJI 920kv motors paired with 30A Mystery -SimonK ESC. A Ardupilot system APM 2.6, featuring extended GPS+compass, telemetry, is utilized. GoPro + video transmitter capabilities are integrated into the design. I am currently utilizing a 3300mAh 4s battery and anticipate around 12-15 minutes of flight time based on initial results. However, two new 5000mAh 4s batteries have been ordered to be combined with fresh 9047 carbon props. Print time was approximately 36 hours at a speed of 90mm/s using PLA filament heated to 210c / 50c heatbed temperature and infill percentage of 30%. The resulting print weighs around 500g. I have already conducted a series of initial tests. First video available: flight with a 3300mAh battery, equipped with 8045 carbon props. To add an extra visual appeal at night, I am working on incorporating LED lights: Night-flight led integration. View video. This is a developing project and new files will be uploaded as progress is made towards its completion. Future developments include integrating LED lighting, gimbal stabilizers, larger battery packs, and upgrading to 9-inch props. Please note that I did not design the gimbal, motors, antenna, props, or GoPro devices used in this multicopter design.
