Big hexacopter for GoPro. I designed this hexacopter to carry my GoPro on a gimbal. It is extremely powerful and stable, with motor distance center to center measuring 672mm. All the tubes are made from high-quality 18mm carbon fiber. The arms and the landing gear are 250mm long, while the legs are 160mm long. The tubes carrying the battery and gimbal are 10mm carbon fiber, and I used special O-rings for the mounts. I started with an APM 2.6 standard controller but switched to a Gartt ML4108 500KV motor paired with a Pixhawk controller. It will fly exceptionally well with both options. Additionally, there's a bracket available for mounting LED lights. I purchased shock absorbers but would love to see them printed if someone is capable of doing so. Print Settings: My own construction uses the following settings: Rafts are required, and supports are also necessary. A resolution of 0.15 - 0.2mm is ideal, with infill ranging from 25% to 50%. Notes: I printed everything with 25% infill but recommend increasing it for the Motor_mount_top, Gear_mount_top, and Gear_mount_bottom. Print the Gear_mount_bottom at a 45-degree angle for added strength. Initially, I printed it flat and had to grind the mounts to accommodate the carbon tubes, which fit tightly without needing screws or glue. The tube mounts feature pins that prevent the tubes from rotating, ensuring stability. To secure the tubes, you'll need to drill holes in the carbon fiber tubes.
