Hexacopter
thingiverse
This hexacopter showcases my first DIY build, where printed parts except electronics are used; the bare frame weighs around 100-110 grams. Although not fully complete, plastic components are ready for sharing. Note (18022013): Motor arm and stand adjustments have been made for enhanced stability (V2). A first flight video is anticipated next week, pending arrival of remaining parts. Main components sourced from Hobbyking include Turnigy 1811 2900KV Brushless Outrunner, Turnigy Plush 6A ESCs, 5030 Props, 5030R Props, and 1000mAh 2S LiPo (Quad) or 2200mAh 2S LiPo (Hex). Setup is expected to be straightforward with 3 mm bolts and nuts used for assembly.
