Hexa-Dagger
sketchfab
I crafted a dagger as part of my exam for the first semester at S4G. The requirements were clear-cut: I could choose any setting, fantasy or sci-fi; the model had to contain between 1,000 and 2,000 polygons; the scale was set up in 3DS-Max with one unit equaling one centimeter. As a relatively inexperienced modeler, it took me four to six hours to get the modeling done, while texturing took about three hours to complete. I used 3DS-Max for modeling, Photoshop for texturing, and Clip Studio Paint to come up with the concept. The initial idea behind the dagger was: "The bees have evolved, and they're furious."
