
Hexa AMBU Artificial Respiratory System

Hello, this is my proposal for an artificial respiration system. This straightforward design accommodates up to six BVM bags powered by a single motor and can supply oxygen to six patients simultaneously. Some components cannot be 3D printed but can be easily manufactured using CNC machining from aluminum or POM. In this design, I've incorporated a stepper motor; however, any DC motor with an effective gear reduction ratio would suffice. Additionally, in the simulation, I fixed the speed at 16 RPM, though it may vary depending on the use of a motor driver to regulate airflow (up to 45 RPM is suitable). This system supports different BVM bag sizes and can also operate with one or multiple bags as needed. Moreover, it allows for multiple pumps to be connected to the same patient if additional oxygen supply is required.
