Schlem wisely suggested utilizing a hex-to-1/4" adapter in place of the previous socket driver upload, which seemed like a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, I didn't have any adapters available at the time but stumbled upon a hex drive socket, which serves exactly the same purpose for my requirements. While not as versatile as using an adapter, 3D printed wings can be used with either a hex adapter or any other hex bit. The inner hex is precisely 6.8mm along its shortest diameter (flat to flat). You'll likely need to adjust the scale of your hex bits accordingly, taking into consideration printer settings, shrinkage, and so forth. Feel free to make it taller or shorter as desired. I utilized my RigidBot printer with a variety of filaments; for an exhaustive list, kindly refer to thrinter.com. The material I employed was Hatchbox Transparent Red ABS.
