Hex Wings
myminifactory
Schlem suggested using a hex-to-1/4" adapter on a previous socket driver upload, and that idea seemed pretty solid. I didn't have any adapters handy at the time, but when searching for one, I stumbled upon a hex drive socket that could serve the same purpose for my particular use case. While it's not as versatile as using an adapter, 3D printed wings can be paired with a hex adapter or any other hex bit just fine. The inner hex on the socket measures 6.8mm along its shortest diameter, from flat to flat. You'll likely want to adjust your hex bit scale accordingly, taking into account printer settings, shrinkage, and so forth. Additionally, you can easily make it taller or shorter if needed.
