Hex Vase 02

Created a Maya tool that automatically generates hexagonal forms from low-poly quads and used it for the first time with this vase design. Printing Parameters Made in Makerware's "medium" settings on my trusty Makerbot Replicator (1): Utilized a removable lexan platform, HBP was turned off during printing. Employed 230 degrees of Extruded Neon Blue PLA. Established a 200 micron resolution with 10% infill and 2 shells for added stability. Removed support material altogether. Printing Time Required close to 6 hours to complete the print.
