Hex Shelf
thingiverse
Inspired by the clever design of "Moidules," I came up with another project that makes assembling a hex shelf child's play. I specifically crafted this for my own needs to store more and more of my growing collection of 3d printing essentials. Give it a try and have fun creating your own! Instructions: To build a 5-cell hex shelf just like the one shown in the picture, you'll need to 3D print the following parts: * Y-support: x 16 pieces * V-support: x 24 pieces Next, cut out some acrylic plates: * (100mmx70mmx3mm): x 24 pieces To turn the bottom half into a storage bin, swap out the V-support with YL-support and YR-support. Don't forget to grab an additional acrylic plate that measures 210mmx70mmx3mm as well! Assemble all these parts, and voila! You'll have yourself a fantastic hex shelf in no time.
