This is a very straightforward yet highly effective stress dispersing washer specifically designed for M3 Nuts and Bolts. The printed washer successfully distributes the tension from the nut and machine screw, significantly reducing the likelihood of cracking acrylic and other brittle plastics. It also minimizes the tendency of hardware to dig in and crush wood panels. Additionally, the plastic enhances the friction of the nut, ensuring it stays in place while tightening the machine screw. Instructions: Print this solid or almost entirely solid. Experiment with parameters within the Open SCAD file to fine-tune the fit, diameter, thickness, and other settings as needed. You can also modify the number of washers in the array, allowing you to print a single batch that yields as many as required. Furthermore, it includes a simple wipe object in the corner to prevent debris from accumulating on the edge of the first washer in the array. These prints are quick and extremely useful. It is recommended to print multiple units at once for convenient storage.
