Hex Knotboard

Hex Knotboard

A modular display of knots, designed for use with paracord.I designed the objects with zero clearance, then added clearance in the projects with a slight negative value of -0.18mm for XY Size Compensation (aka “horizontal expansion”). Adjust as needed. The hexagon project has a hole meant to house a hidden end of one of your ropes with room for a stopper knot, while the rest of the rope is on display tied in some gnarly knot of your choice. The no-hole variant of the hexagon project uses PrusaSlicer's “No holes” slicing mode and is intended for use wherever you may desire some space between or around your knotted pieces of rope. These blank tiles are also good for labeling your knots. The chevron-shaped pieces are meant to be fastened to some of the edges of the display, forming a frame.See AlsoKnots that Actually Hold
