This simple box was created as an educational project for my son, and we worked together to measure out every detail before refining our design after testing various paper templates and a CNC-cut prototype. I employed my desktop CNC machine from Stepcraft, utilizing a 2mm flute with spiral teeth. Following sanding, I applied hard wax oil to give the box an excellent finish.
