Hex Key adapter for drill
thingiverse
I created a handy little gadget when I needed to use a drill to tighten multiple bolts at the bottom of a build at an angle. Regular drill hex keys wouldn't cut it, so I came up with this workaround instead. The bottoms of some regular handheld hex keys have a "rounded" bottom for that purpose, but I designed this one to snap on around the key and let me drill away. I made it specifically for a tight fit around a 3mm key, so if you need different sizes, just scale it up or down accordingly. Simply snap it on and secure it with zip-ties - it works like a dream! If your prints tend to be a bit off, consider scaling this design up slightly to ensure a snug fit. Also, a bit of movement between the piece and the key might actually be beneficial (it'll make the drill less wobbly). This gadget is meant to be printed on its back side (the small flat surface), but I included an untested, unsupported version if you'd rather print it upright for ease.
