These templates, provided by Sublime's Settlers Clone, come without artwork but allow you to create your mod easily. Adding art and incorporating both intersection shapes, found in the tar ball, ensures a nearly perfect tile. If knife work isn't desired post-print, simply opt for slightly loose intersections. The hex should be hallow after raising up any shape and placing art inside; this enhances print quality. Smooth in Pronterface can further improve prints. Rafts aren't necessary but a skirt may help occasionally. Sublime's work inspired the ability to float artwork on top of objects, which can skein well if done carefully. Landscape artwork is being developed for these tiles, though painting proves more challenging than expected. When raising up the inner hex with three faces, ensure the larger one doesn't overlap and cause issues like filling the middle hex.
