This is a versatile tool that combines the functions of a screwdriver and nut driver for standard 1/4-inch drive hex bits, featuring a rotating cap. For optimal results, print the Test Piece first to accurately determine the scaling requirements. To avoid damage when installing the rotating cap, be cautious not to apply too much pressure, as this can cause the clips that hold it in place to break off. Once the cap is securely seated, it should spin smoothly without any hindrance. A redesigned version of the clips has been included, which offers improved durability and resistance to breakage when installing or removing the cap. This package also includes a compact driver for added convenience. The hexagonal hole features a slight taper at its rear end, ensuring a snug fit with the bit. For enhanced functionality, consider printing the tool slightly larger (about 2%) and attaching a 6mm diameter magnet to the back of the hole. This modification allows for easy attachment or detachment of the tool from metal surfaces. The designer used PLA material with settings such as 195C/55C temperature, 0.2mm layer height, 1.2mm walls, 0.8mm top/bottom layers, and a moderate 20% infill rate, utilizing a 0.4mm nozzle and a cooling fan at maximum speed after the initial layer. UPDATE: Additional printing parameters have been discovered for PETG material, which involve using a temperature range of 235-240C, no bed heat, a layer height of 0.25mm, and a line width of 0.5mm with a 0.4mm nozzle. The recommended cooling fan speed is set to 15% due to the risk of brittle material with excessive cooling. Regardless of the infill chosen (including hollow prints), walls should be maintained at 1.2mm for optimal stability and performance.
