Try the included test pieces to check your tolerances. There are two versions:Normal which is around 15.5 inch(390mm) tall. With a 4 inch deep shelf. That's about as big as you can make a slice and still have it fit on an Ender 3 print bed. Small which is more for decoration or tiny things. Which is 10.5 inch (266mm) tall. With a 2 inch deep shelf.
