Hex Brush/Pen holder

I'm experimenting with Fusion 360's copy sketch to plane technique and created a rather impressive looking brush/pen holder. It printed flawlessly on my Prusa at 0.3 mm layer thickness, taking approximately 11 hours in total, but support removal was quite laborious and wasteful, resulting in over half the finished print's weight being attributed to the support structures, as evident from the accompanying images. Currently, I'm searching for effective ways to minimize support structures in Slic3r; any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
