I've designed two tabletop games featuring chess-style pieces atop slot-style circular bases on an innovative 91-space hexagonal grid, crafted with precision on a bespoke 3D printer. My original prototype boasts a large, intricately designed board made of full-color sandstone from Shapeways ($110), which was not only a game-changer but also a significant investment. Thus, I've set out to develop a novel 5-space tile model, carefully optimized for seamless tessellation and scalability. With just 18 prints needed to replicate the original board, or infinitely expandable at will, this game-changer in gaming has the potential to transform the tabletop experience forever!
