Hex bits holder with hidden springs

Hex bits holder with hidden springs

thingiverse

The holder's internal springs are engineered to deliver a consistent holding power. It is crucial that this bit holder prints with its largest face facing downwards, as printing it any other way can lead to delamination of the springs. The design features horizontal 0.2mm separation gaps within the holder, mirroring those found between parts and supports when using a 0.2mm layer height. As a result, when inserting bits for the first time, a bit more force is required to overcome these gaps and separate the spring.
