Hex Bit Spring Maker

Hex Bit Spring Maker

prusaprinters

Made this tool to go into my Ryobi HP34LVN to make springs for battery holders. I have included multiple sizes. This will fit into any standard hex bit holder or drill chuck.

I printed mine in ABS for added strength, I also would recommend printing these horizontal (with supports) rather than vertical as it will give them more strength printing with the grain. The hole is 1/8th inch (on all but the 1/8" ID model which is 1/16") so most piano or steel wire should fit.

Has 4 versions, ½" ID model, ¼" ID Model (Great for AAA batteries), 1/8" ID model and 0.40inch ID model.

The 0.40 inch model is nearly the same size as an AA battery and works great for battery holders.
