Hex Bit Holders
prusaprinters

This is a simple set of holders for extra 1/4 driver hex bits that I had laying around. Also started this because wanted to hang a set of bits next to the printer for repairs or modifications to the printer.

The files include with and without the tab for hanging. Also a set that are extra small that I used for the rest of the excess bits that I had. And just threw a bunch of different sizes in because I was tinkering with openscad. Even threw in the scad file if you need a different size.

The use of rafts and support is completely optional. Depending on the holder I used different settings. I preferred the use of supports for the tab, and most of the time the raft made it more consistent because I didn't want to slow it down to a crawl for that first layer. Also, with the extra small versions I found that it turned out much nicer to use the raft and variable process settings starting with .1 resolution for the first two layers then switching to the .2 just so it was a quicker print.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Monoprice

Printer:

Maker Select Plus

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Doesn't Matter

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

30%

Filament: Monoprice PLA White

Category: Tool Holders & Boxes
